The West Nile Virus is an illness contracted mostly from Mosquitoes. There are some steps you can do to prevent the contraction of the virus. Below are some symptoms that are prevalent in people who are affected by the virus. Most symptoms’ don’t appear until after 3-14 after they are bite by an infected mosquito.

Step1
Someone with serious symptoms have high fever, headache, neck stiffness, stupor, disorientation, coma, tremors, convulsions, muscle weakness, vision loss, and numbness and paralysis. Many of the symptoms last for several weeks and some of affects may be permanent.
Step2
Milder symptoms are the same as above, fever, headache, and body aches, nausea, vomiting, swollen lymph nodes, skin rash on the chest, back, and stomach. Symptoms can last from a few days to several weeks.
Step3
Most of us who are infected will not even show any symptoms and will never know that we have contracted the illness.
