One of the more popular ways of preparing a pastrami sandwich is by baking it for an extra flavor as a warm, delicious snack. These steps will show you how to easily make a tasty, baked pastrami sandwich.

  • Bread of choice
  • Foil wrap
  • Oven
  • Sliced pastrami
  • Sliced cheese of choice
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  • Knife
  • Plate

    How to Make a Baked Pastrami Sandwich

  1. Step 1

    Get the supplies. Your local grocer or deli will have all the necessary supplies.

  2. Step 2

    Lay out the bread. Lay out two pieces of your bread of choice on a plate.

  3. Step 3

    Garnish with condiments. Use the knife to spread desired amount of mayonnaise and mustard on the bread.

  4. Step 4

    Add pastrami. Add desired amount of sliced pastrami to one piece of the bread.

  5. Step 5

    Add cheese. Add desired amount of cheese of choice to the other piece of bread.

    Wrap in foil. Combine the pieces of bread and wrap the sandwich tightly in foil wrap.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can try adding vegetables of choice, but this sandwich is best with just pastrami and cheese.
  • Do not add lettuce until after baking, it will get soggy and mushy.
