Get Strawberry Stains Out of Clothes

Strawberries are an irresistible treat. Unfortunately they also leave horrid stains. Don't throw that article of clothing out, try this method of getting the stain out first.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vinegar
  • Baking Powder
  1. Step 1

Rinse stain with cool water and blot with paper towels (don't rub) to get off any excess that you can.

  2. Step 2

Combine white vinegar with baking powder. It does not have to be like a paste, no need to go too heavy with the baking powder.

  3. Step 3

    Pour onto stain.

  4. Step 4

Let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

  5. Step 5

Wash in machine with cold water.

  6. Step 6

Check that stain is gone before placing in dryer as heat will set the stain.

  7. Step 7

Repeat if necessary but once usually does the trick.

  8. Step 8

If white material, hang outside in the sun to dry as the sun is the world's best bleach.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't put in washer with other clothing you'd worry would be contaminated by the stain.
