There's a few different ways to put music, videos and pictures on your iPod Touch. This is the easiest way!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iPod Touch.
  • Link cable that came with the iPod.
  • Computer.
  • Music, video or picture files.
  1. Step 1

Viewing Files. Looking at your computers desktop, click Start at the bottom left corner and open your Computer file. Plug in the link cable from your iPod to your computers usb port. Once your iPod has loaded you should see an icon that says Removable Disks in the Computer folder on your computer. Click on the icon and now you can View the files on your iPod Touch. To view Music, click on the Music file and to view Videos, click on the Video file and so on.

  2. Step 2

Adding Music. With the Removable Disks file still open, click on Start again and open your Documents folder. Click on the Music folder and you will see all Music files on your computer. With your Mouse, click the song you want and drag it to the Removable Disks folder. Now that the music file is on your iPod you look at the Removable Disks folder and click and drag the file to the Music folder on your iPod. That's it!

  3. Step 3

You do the same for adding Videos and Pictures as you do with adding Music. Find the folder in your computer with the files you want on your iPod and click and drag them to the Removable Disks folder then to the folder on your iPod.

Tips & Warnings
  • This also works with Blackberry cell phones, PSP and similar devices.
  • Only move Music, Video and Picture files to the Removable Disks folder.
  • Do not disconnect your iPod Touch from your computer while files are transferring.
