How to Buy A Discounted Designer Watch On Sale

A watch is the most useful thing we own, and the price it costs for a good one can be pretty high. If you know how to get a great deal on a watch it makes buying one a lot more fun.

1. I have many expensive watches, and I have not paid retail for one of them. My favorite source for buying a brand new watch such as a Tag Heuer, Omega, Michele, Chopard, etc., is on the internet. There are many reputable watch dealers who sell authentic watches for hundreds of dollars less than your local jeweler. Take your time and shop a bunch of them to find the best price for the watch you are looking for. Many watches I have bought this way I was able to resell on Ebay years later (after I wore them for a few years) for the same price I purchased them for originally. Ebay can also be a good place to buy a new or used designer watch.
2. Warehouse clubs have high end designer watches for a great price if you are leery of buying them on the internet.
3. Your local pawn shop is sure to have a great selection of used watches for a great price.
4. If you are traveling in the Carribean, check out the local jewelers, I have gotten great prices on watches and brand name jewelery such as David Yurman in Grand Cayman, the Bahamas, etc.
5. Look for outlet stores for your favorite watch brands.
6. Outlet stores such as Off Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus Last Call often have designer watches that are being clearanced in their outlet stores as well.
7. If you're in the market for an expensive designer watch, shop around and you're sure to find exactly what you want for a lot less than what it is selling for at the mall.

Tips & Warnings

• Rolex watches will not be found for discounted prices due to the manufacturer restrictions. However, I have heard that they can be found for discounted prices outside of the U.S, such as in the Carribean.
