How to Tie a Simple Noose Knot

A simple noose is a useful slipknot which anyone can easily make. It should not be compared with the hangman's noose, which is a different, more complex knot. Read on to learn how to tie a simple noose knot.

Instructions

1. 
    

   Make a bend in a piece of rope.

2. 
    

   Pass one end over the other.

3. 
    
   Knot

   Pass the end under the loop.

4. Pass the free end over the first end of the loop. Pull it through, parallel to the other end of the rope.

5. Tighten the knot. You now have a simple noose.
