A mouth watering combination of sweet and salty is easy to make with this kid-friendly recipe.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 package milk chocolate chips
  • 1 package small pretzels, any shape
  • Microwave
  • Wax paper
Step1
Pour chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on 50% power until chips are melted. Stir until smooth.
Step2
Dip pretzels one at a time. Lift out of chocolate with a fork, lightly tapping fork against side of bowl to let excess chocolate drip back into bowl.
Step3
Place pretzels on waxed paper and allow to dry.
Step4
Many variations are possible. Pretzel rods can be used by dipping just one end of the pretzel rod into the chocolate. Kids will enjoy decorating the pretzels with sprinkles. Drizzling with melted white chocolate is also an idea. Use your imagination and have fun!

Tips & Warnings

  • Wrap in clear plastic bags tied with a pretty bow for bake sales or to give as a gift.
  • Baking chips come in a variety of flavors such as vanilla, peanut butter, or dark chocolate. Any of these will work equally as well for dipping pretzels.
