-
Step 1
Log onto the official Myxer website.
-
Step 2
On the front page of Myxer, click on the tab labeled “Explore.”
-
Step 3
Free here, you can search for ringtones via categories. For example, you could click on the tab labeled “Sports” which is found under the label “Ringtone Categories.”
-
Step 4
From here, you will find a list of popular sports ringtones. If nothing that is listed appeals to you, you can search for ringtones in the box labeled “Find.”
-
Step 5
Once you click on a ringtone, be sure that the phrase “There is no charge for this ringtone” is found on the page. You can click on the Play button to preview your ringtone before you choose it.
-
Step 6
When you've found a ringtone that you want, enter your phone number into the box that has the phrase “enter phone #” in it. Once you click the tab labeled “Send to Phone,” your new ringtone will be send to your phone via message.

on 8/26/2009 Doesn't work. I have an LG chocolate and I tried to have a ringtone sent to it and the website said it wouldn't send and to register my phone so I could see what could be sent. I did and the only ringtones available to me cost money :-(

on 7/16/2009 Myxer only allows me to send certain ringtones to my Verizon phone.
I can't search up songs &get the one I want, I have to choose from a list. :P
I've been using Tonzr.com to get my free ringtones, but they've been having problems for the past few days.
phonezoo.com is another website I use, but not to get ringtones. They don't have that many good ones.
You can get some really good free wallpapers from there though. :)
