How to Make Natural Soda Pop - Corn Syrup Free

Kids love sweet drinks laden with corn syrup and dyes. Creating homemade natural soda without the corn syrup* or dyes is easy and fast.

*Note- Select juice concentrates that do not contain corn syrup or artifical dyes. And, if you must avoid corn products for dietary reasons, watch out for citric acid which is usually derived from corn products. Or, you can use the recipe I have listed for homemade juice concentrate.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Carbonated or seltzer water
  • Juice Concentrate
  • Ice
  1. Step 1

    11 1/2 ounce can juice concentrate, (or, to taste)
    2 liter bottle sparkling carbonated water

  2. Step 2

    Combine ingredients in large pitcher.

  3. Step 3

    Serve chilled or over ice.

    *Experiment with amount of concentrate needed to achieve desired flavor.

  4. Step 4

    Freeze in ice cube trays or in small paper cups, inserting a popsicle stick when it reaches the slushy stage for a healthy summer treat.
