It is very difficult to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon in Maryland, especially if you are a non-resident. Basically, you must be an owner or employee of a security service as a monitor, salesperson, or technician. There may be other instances of approval due to bodily threats, etc. You will have to produce police reports and such to prove your need to carry a concealed weapon. Please see the Maryland State Police website for all requirements and documentations.
