How to View Comcast Email on Verizon's LG enV2 VX9100

Learn how to access Comcast web-based email on Verizon's LG enV2 VX9100

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• The cell phone
• Comcast email address
• Comcast email password

1. On internal screen see "Menu", press OK button on keypad

2. Go to "Email" (#6 icon), press OK button

3. Go to "Mobile Email", press OK button

4. Go to "Add account", press OK button

5. "Select an email service" screen: Scroll down to "Other", press OK. Note: Yahoo, AOL, Verizon may already be listed but Comcast (other providers) may not be.

6. "Mobile Email" screen: Type in Comcast email address, scroll down to "password" using OK button, enter Comcast password. If you wish, save your password. Last thing: Highlight "Sign In" and press OK button. You're in!!!

7. Wanna be notified soon as email comes in? Press right soft key for "Options". Scroll to "Settings", press OK. Scroll to "always, never, or only during times you wish to be alerted.
   
   When email comes in, you get pop up message on cell. That way, you don't have to constantly check (and use time/megabytes) if there's no new email. Especially great when you're anxiously awaiting important mail.
   
   Note: You can set the alert (or have NO alert) for each email account you add. If you get a lot of junk mail at one, you may not want to use the alert and be constantly annoyed.

on 5/28/2008 Step 4 "add account" is missing from my list... I see AOL, MSN, Yahoo, & Search... What Am I Missing?
