1
Prepare the French vanilla pudding according to instructions on the package. You can do this ahead of time so that the pudding has time to set.
-
2
Begin preparing the pound cake by cutting into fairly even, bite-size 1-inch squares. Set aside.
-
-
3
Thoroughly rinse the strawberries and blueberries. Slice the strawberries. Set aside.
-
4
Peel and slice the bananas into a large bowl. As you slice them, drizzle some of the lemon juice on the sliced bananas in the bowl and toss to coat. The acid in the lemon juice will keep the bananas from browning.

Make the layers. Start with a thin layer of pudding in the bottom of the trifle dish. Make a layer of pound cake, then blueberries, then strawberries, then banana, then pudding again. Repeat all layers until you reach the top of your trifle dish. Depending on the size of your dish, you may have fruit, pudding or cake left over.
