1
Stand in a fighting stance. That is, if you're a righty, you stand with your left leg forward; if you're a lefty, you stand with your right leg forward.
-
2
Stick your butt out, lean your chest forward and shift your weight onto your front leg. You want to be leaning forward with both feet pointing straight ahead.

3
Hold the gun in a comfortable position against your shoulder. This helps to brace your body for recoil and prevents the gun from damaging your shoulder.
-
4
Pivot your body with your legs as you take aim on the skeet. This gives you more control than if you pivoted with your upper body.

Tips & Warnings
Though it may seem unnatural to carry your weight on your front leg instead of your back leg, be sure to do so. Shifting your weight to the back makes you less sturdy when you fire.
Be sure to take the proper stance when firing a shotgun. It's a powerful firearm and can seriously damage your arm and shoulder if you don't hold it properly when shooting.
Maintain the proper safety procedures when handling firearms. Keep the safety on at all times until ready to fire the weapon.
