Absinthe is still banned in most countries, but if it isn't in your you can find out how to make it and bottle it. It has been known to be a hallucinogen and people have become seriously intoxicated by it. Be careful if you drink it.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make sure you have a nice bottle for your absinthe. Some bottles come in beautifully designed creations with painting and wording on them. You can find bottles like these in thrift shops or art shops.

  2. Step 2

Use a funnel to bottle the absinthe. Lift up the container that you have the absinthe in and start pouring it into the bottle through the funnel slowly so you do not waste any.

  3. Step 3

Fill up the bottle to the top. It is usually a very green alcohol and can be almost fluorescent at times. You can see it in shops in South America, Mexico and other foreign countries.

  4. Step 4

Close the bottle with the clasp that is attached to the top. It should be a strong clasp that almost acts as a wine cork and if it is laid on its side it should not drip. You can find these type of bottles in a bottling or recycling factory. You might have to pay some money for a few bottles.

  5. Step 5

Get some smaller bottles if you have left overs and pour the left overs into them. Add a sugar cube to each and give them out to your closest friends as a gift.

Tips & Warnings
  • The FDA has banned Thujone, a chemical that is used to produce traditional absinthe. So any absinthe bought in the US will not have this chemical in it.
