PulpMotion allows you to add video clips to a slideshow. The video clips appear in place of a still photo, play out and then transition to the next photo in the slideshow. PulpMotion provides a means to add pre-made video from sites such as YouTube, your own pre-recorded video or live iSight video.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click the "Video" tab located to the right of "Photo" beneath the Media column on the right side of the screen. This action brings up the PulpMotion video screen.

  2. Step 2

Select iVideo or iTunes from the menu to access the video media stored in these libraries or select a movie media file from the Movie library.

  3. Step 3

Decide what video media file you want to use in the PulpMotion slideshow.

  4. Step 4

Click on the file name in the list of available video media in the Menu list to the right of the screen. Hold the mouse button down.

  5. Step 5

Drag the cursor and the video file down to the photo media tray beneath the slideshow work area and position it over one of the spaces.

  6. Step 6

Release the mouse button to set the file into the media tray and into the PulpMotion slideshow.

  7. Step 7

Click "Preview" located just beneath the slideshow work area to preview the video file in action within the PulpMotion slideshow.

  8. Step 8

Adjust where in the PulpMotion slideshow the movie starts and ends. Double-click the movie file in the media tray. This brings up two slidebars you use to adjust the video in and out points.

  9. Step 9

Click "Play" to the right of the slidebars to preview the adjustments.

  10. Step 10

Select "Close" to finalize the adjusted start and stop points within the PulpMotion slideshow.
