One thing skateboarders love is banks. You can find them in most self-respecting skateboard parks. The trick is rolling away from them without leaving the board. It's possible, and it's easier than you think.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Step1
Keep your focal point on the bank at all times when rolling away from banks on a skateboard.
Step2
Remember not to look backward, as this could cause you to shift your balance when you're rolling away from the bank and potentially cause you to lose your balance altogether.
Step3
Ride up to the bank on your skateboard.
Step4
Bend your knees as you meet the transition, where the bank begins to slope upward.
Step5
Straighten your legs as you go up the slope, and bend them again as you meet the transition on the way down the bank on your skateboard.
Step6
Roll away smoothly from the bank with your knees unbent.
Step7
Focus on bending your knees when you meet the transition on the bank, as this allows you to keep your weight distributed evenly on the board and helps to prevent the board from scooting away from beneath you.
