1
Lay a piece of white paper on a table. Place your candle in a lying down position on the piece of paper. With your pencil, put a mark at the top of the candle and another one at the bottom on the paper.
-
2
Measure the circumference of the candle by wrapping the paper around the candle. Cut the piece of paper to the exact candle's circumference without overlapping.

3
Form a pattern by arranging the flowers and leaves on the paper the way you want them to appear on the candle. Space the flowers evenly around the candle. This way the flowers will be visible from any direction.
-
4
Heat a section of the candle with your hair dryer to soften the wax. Gently press a flower or leaf onto the candle.
-
5
Roll the candle on another piece of paper to make sure the flower is attached. Continue adding the remaining flowers.
-
6
Simmer water in a saucepan. Break up a small white candle so that it melts faster. Place the candle pieces in a heatproof dish and place it over the simmering water.
-
7
Apply a light coat of wax on the decorated candle by dipping a small paintbrush in the melted wax and brush over the decorated areas on the candle. Let the candle cool for approximately 10 minutes.
