Arena football teams play in over a dozen U.S. cities with their games broadcast on a major network. From its inception in 1987, the league has grown from four teams to two conferences consisting with teams in most major cities. The league isn't as prolific as the NFL, but you can score a job with one of their franchises if you know how and where to look.

Check the Arena Football website. The work online section lists job openings with all arena league teams. You may also check the team websites individually. For example, visit Chicago Rush online for their jobs and information. Click on "Rush Biz" and drop down to the employment link.

Look at sports-oriented job sites like Sportscareers and Jobsinsports. You can also browse regular job super sites like Monster for listings with arena football teams.

Go to the source. Hang around and get to know the team as a fan and as a sports professional. By learning more about the inner workings of the organization, you'll have a line on prospective employment. Learn all you can about arena football, its rules, teams and history.
