A Reiki 2 class enables a second level Reiki student to do remote, past and future healing. This second level class also enhances a practitioner's own emotional and spiritual purification. By the end of a Reiki 2 class, students are certified by the Reiki master as practitioners.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Expect "Initiations" or ceremonial acts of energy transfer and empowerment. By the end of the Reiki 2 class, students receive three initiations in all.

  2. Step 2

Learn the symbols that embody the Reiki flow of energy. The 2nd degree Reiki class usually instructs a student on how to consciously use the symbols of harmony, synchronicity, flow and intensity of Reiki energy.

  3. Step 3

Practice receiving the energy sent from the master. The symbols in Step 2 enable a second-degree Reiki student to send and receive energy treatments. By learning to receive them yourself, you are learning how these symbols encourage the coming together of time and space, an important component of Reiki.

  4. Step 4

Listen to the advice and experience of the master. During a Reiki 2 class, it is the master's job to share experiences and knowledge about using the symbols with students. It is the student's job to be receptive.

  5. Step 5

Allow encouragement and be open to mentoring. In the Reiki 2 class, your master will encourage your growth and mentor your Reiki practice. This is an important component in the second level of Reiki.

  6. Step 6

Do self-Reiki and Hatsurei-ho daily for at least three weeks after your Reiki 2 course. It's important to practice with the symbols and to use the Remote technique to yourself.
