How to Make Monkey Bread Into Cinnamon Rolls

Monkey bread cinnamon rolls actually look like one huge cinnamon roll. However, that huge roll is cleverly made so that individual cinnamon rolls can by easily pulled off and eaten. Each monkey bread cinnamon roll is gooey, delicious and just the right size for eating with your fingers.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 5 tubes of refrigerator rolls
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 2/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Step 2

    Butter a bundt pan generously and sprinkle the chopped walnuts or pecans in the bottom of the pan.

  3. Step 3

    Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a pie pan, and stir to blend thoroughly.

  4. Step 4

    Remove the biscuits from the cans and cut each biscuit into four pieces. Roll each biscuit quarter in the cinnamon and sugar mixture and place them in the bundt pan.

  5. Step 5

    Melt the butter in a small saucepan, and add the water and brown sugar. Boil the mixture for about a minute and pour it evenly over the biscuits in the bundt pan.

  6. Step 6

    Bake the monkey bread cinnamon rolls for 30 to 40 minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Let the monkey bread cinnamon rolls cool slightly, and then invert them onto a plate. Serve them warm.

Tips & Warnings
  • To make monkey bread cinnamon rolls even more sweet and gooey, mix up a bit more sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it over the top a little at a time while the rolls are baking.
