How to Get to Heaven as a Catholic
The goal for many followers of the Catholic religion is to get into heaven. Nine out of every ten people in the United States say that they believe in heaven, defined as a place of eternal life where there is no more death, sorrow, crying or pain. Heaven is a place better than anything any human can imagine.

Create a life filled with good intentions and charity. Do good deeds, help others and treat people how you would want to be treated. Consider reading the Holy Bible to truly understand how God wants us to live.

Make sure that you receive all of your sacraments. These include baptism, penance, communion, confirmation and anointing of the sick. Sacraments that are optional to the follower are matrimony and holy orders.

Believe in and follow the teachings of Jesus and the church by practicing the Ten Commandments. These teachings, written by God, teach his followers how to live a moral life.

Live a life without mortal sin so that your soul is clean at death. If you do commit mortal sins, be sure to confess them to a priest with true repentance.

Remember that the option of purgatory is available if your soul is not ready for heaven when you die. Purgatory is a place of purification where your soul works off any punishment before going to heaven.

God, your Creator, loves you way more than any of us can comprehend! Now start living your life as a better person as a THANK YOU to God for what he has provided you with! These verses and many more like them are in your bible. Dont take my word on what to believe. Look them up and see what God Himself has to say about how to get to heaven! Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16) For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) -

this information is incorect. there is only one to get to heaven. that is by believing that god sent his son, jesus to earth to die on the cross. jesus was perfect and never did anything against the will of god. he did not deserve to die, but he did to take away our sins. ask god to forgive u. pray and if u believe u r forgiven and will go to heaven. after that LIVE 4 jesus tell others and share the joyful news. John 3:16
