Twins have a special bond and learn to share at a young age. Being together since birth gives these children the opportunity to learn about cooperation and teamwork very early on. Just because twins have learned to share young does not mean that they should always share toys and clothing. Follow these steps to learn how to buy toys for twins.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Ask the twins to make a list of things that they want. Remember to give the twins a chance to make the lists individually so that they each express what they want on their own.
Step2
Bring the twins on a shopping spree. Allow the twins to shop for each other. This will give the twins a chance to make their sibling feel extra special. You can also see how well the twins know each other when they choose the toys.
Step3
Buy some of the same toys for the twins. Each twin may want the same thing, and in some cases, sharing is not an option. For example, if each twin wants a bicycle, it is important to get each child one of her own.
Step4
Choose some toys for the twins that they have to share; for example, an easel or computer game. This will give the twins an opportunity to share and learn the virtue of patience.
Step5
Purchase a family game for the twins to play together. If the game is designed for two players, the twins can play together. If the game is designed for more than two players, the twins can play with their family members and friends.
