Instructions

    • 1

Comb the hair and pull it back into a ponytail fairly high on the back of the head. Secure the ponytail with a coated hair band.

    • 2

Separate the hair into two equal sections and wrap one section around the ponytail, using bobby pins to hold it in place.

    • 3

Twist the remaining section of hair and wrap it around the first section, securing it with bobby pins. As you work, try to keep the hair as close to your head as possible so the bun will be round and smooth and won't poke out from the head.

    • 4

Put some styling gel on your fingers and use it to tame any stray wisps of hair. Shake your head gently to make sure the bun is firmly in place, and add more bobby pins if necessary.

    • 5

Mist the hair lightly with hair spray to keep the hair neatly in place.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your hair is very thick, divide the ponytail into three equal sections instead of two. Twist the third section and wrap it neatly around the second section, securing it with bobby pins.
