Instructions

    • 1

Take apart three ball point pens. Remove the caps, then remove the pen tip by twisting it back and forth. Pop the end plug out by shoving a long skinny item in the pen, such as a letter opener or a screwdriver.

    • 2

Attach two of the pen tubes together by wrapping the ends with rubber bands. Use two rubber bands for each end of the pens.

    • 3

Make notches in both ends of the third pen tube with a utility knife. Make two small cuts close to each other on one side of the pen tube. Make two cuts on the opposite side in the same manner. Wiggle the little plastic piece between the two cuts and pull it off of both sides.

    • 4

Lay the notched pen tube across the top of the double pen tube to form a capital T. Secure the tube to the top with rubber bands. Wrap the rubber bands around both sides of the T to make it very secure.

    • 5

Set a medium sized molly paper clip on the bottom of the "T." Secure the clip to the pen tubes with rubber bands. Wrap the rubber bands around the bottom wire arm and the pen tubes, leaving the top wire arm free.

    • 6

Stretch a rubber band, from end to end, around the top of the T. Fit the rubber band into the notches on each end of the pen tube. Pull one end of the rubber band to the molly clip and clip it there.

    • 7

Put a small item, such as a pencil eraser, on the crossbow at the molly clip. Press the top arm of the molly clip down to release the rubber band and launch the pencil eraser. Do not aim to hit eyes or faces.
