Step 1
Examine one of the areas described as the Bermuda Triangle to determine where you will travel. Some people believe the triangle extends from the southern coast of Virginia, down to Miami, Florida, over to San Juan, Puerto Rico and back up to Virginia.
-
Step 2
Consider another outline of the Bermuda Triangle detailed in an "Argosy" article written in 1964. Writer Vincent Gaddis said the location extends from Florida to Bermuda, Southwest to Puerto Rico and back to Florida through the Bahamas.
-
Step 3
Arrange for your passage on a large commercial ship to visit the Bermuda Triangle. This is one of the most traveled shipping areas in the world, and the biggest problem is due to inexperienced sailors or people in small boats running out of gas.
-
Step 4
Deal with strong currents that roll over reefs, cause instability on the ocean bottom and create swift navigational problems. You should take something to calm a queasy stomach.
-
Step 5
Prepare for rapid weather changes when you visit the Bermuda Triangle. Small violent thunderstorms, tornadoes and immature tropical cyclones can occur with little or no warning.
-
Step 6
Take a raincoat, or better yet, stay below if the waves get high. Unpredictable sea waves can break and give a wall of water up to 40 feet high.
