Send out Scooby Doo invitations and set the stage for the party's theme. Store-bought invitations are widely available or print your own online at DLTK-Kids.

Set the mood for the Scooby Doo party with decorations. Give the party a retro feel. Use colored lighting for added effect and include flower-power themed decorations. Hang balloons that are green, yellow and purple (the colors of the Mystery Machine). Place Scooby stuffed animals or action figures on the tables as centerpieces.

Serve dog-themed and Scooby Doo-themed food. Choose hot dogs or corn dogs. Serve sides such as potato chips or French fries out of clean dog bowls placed on each table.
