How to Make Glitter Dust Glitter gel

Glitter dust glitter gel is a perfect craft for older kids and they can have fun using the gel or giving it to their friends as gifts. Glitter dust glitter gel also makes a great fund-raising project for church groups, clubs or school organizations.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 tsp. glycerin
  • 1/2 cup aloe vera gel
  • Paper cups
  • 1 tsp. glitter in four different colors
  • 8 drops essential oils of your choice
  • Food coloring in 3 different colors
  • Tiny lip gloss jars, clear
  • 4 plastic spoons
  1. Step 1

    Divide the aloe vera gel into four equal portions and put each one in a paper cup.

  2. Step 2

    Stir 1/4 tsp. of glycerin into each paper cup.

  3. Step 3

    Put 1/4 tsp. of glitter in each paper cup.

  4. Step 4

    Put a drop of food coloring in three of the cups, a different color for each cup. Leave one jar uncolored.

  5. Step 5

    Put 2 drops of essential oil in each cup.

  6. Step 6

    Stir each cup with a plastic spoon until the ingredients are thoroughly blended.

  7. Step 7

    Spoon the glitter dust glitter gel into tiny lip gloss jars and put the lids on securely.

Tips & Warnings
  • Glitter dust glitter gel is safe for the skin and hair, but it shouldn't be used near the eyes.
  • Vary the appearance of the glitter dust glitter gel with some star, sun, heart or diamond glitter.
  • Empty film cannisters work well to store glitter dust glitter gel are great for a budget. The only drawback is that you won't be able to see the glitter gel.
