Chronic Fatigue Syndrome causes debilitating fatigue lasting 6 months or longer. Anyone can suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome, but most people diagnosed are women ages 25 to 45 years of age. Chronic fatigue syndrome causes many physical symptoms including inner ear disorders. Here's how to prevent inner ear disorders occurring from chronic fatigue syndrome.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Consult your doctor immediately if you suspect you have chronic fatigue syndrome or an inner ear disorder. The doctor will develop a treatment plan individualized to each person's specific symptoms and overall health. Early diagnosis and treatment are the key to recovery.

  2. Step 2

Rest as much as possible. Overexertion will worsen the effects of chronic fatigue syndrome and compromise your immune system.

  3. Step 3

Eat a balanced diet. This helps your body fight off infections and builds a healthy immune system. Also, drink 8 to 12 glasses of water a day to fight fatigue.

  4. Step 4

Exercise regularly but don't overdo it. Stretching exercises such as yoga, tai chi and Pilates, as well as moderate aerobic exercise, are beneficial.

  5. Step 5

Treat airborne allergies. Nasal and head congestion associated with allergies can cause inner ear problems and exacerbate chronic fatigue syndrome.

  6. Step 6

Consider alternative medicine to treat chronic fatigue syndrome and prevent inner ear disorders. Acupuncture, cupping and herbal remedies may help.

Tips & Warnings
  • There is no cure for chronic fatigue syndrome, as its exact cause is unknown. However, you can treat the symptoms to provide relief.
  • Symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome mimic the symptoms of many other disorders such as viral infections, kidney disease and depression, making it hard to diagnose.
