1
Pay attention to your daily opportunities. While you do not need to plan out your kindness, keep your eyes open for the chance. Whether it is helping change a distressed motorist's tire or simply holding the elevator for a stranger, there are so many chances that you won't have to wait long.
-
2
Buy yourself flowers or go for a walk by yourself. Do something kind for yourself. Something that puts a smile on your face.

3
Help a colleague who doesn't expect it. Help carry a box of copier paper or cover someone's shift, so they can pick up a child from soccer. The key is to make a sacrifice, however small, in order to make a colleague's life a little brighter.

4
Improve your community. All communities require the residents to help. That's what makes a community a home. You can volunteer to plant trees in a local park or do something as simple as picking up roadside trash on your walk home.

5
Focus your kindness on a massive scale. This doesn't mean you have to do a massively large good deed, it means you should try to perform kindness for the earth. Recycle or ride your bike to work instead of driving. There are countless ways to make our world a better place just a little at a time.
