You can use tarot cards for guidance, meditation and fun. But you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a tarot deck that works for you. You can print your own tarot cards right at home from your own computer.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide whether you want to design your own tarot cards or if you want to use an existing tarot deck. AthenaLuna also offers a "Make Your Own Tarot" page on their website.

  2. Step 2

Find tarot cards you can print by searching on the Internet for "Printable Tarot Cards." Many sights offer free, themed tarot cards that you can print from home. Hollywood Tarot features TV and movie themed cards and Warm Champagne offers "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" themed cards. Little Dead Girl created her own deck that is a mix of styles.

  3. Step 3

Create the tarot cards using your own colored printer. Click on the image you want to print. From the "File" menu at the top of your screen, choose "Print" and click "OK."

  4. Step 4

Print the tarot cards on regular paper. Then, cut them out and use them as is, or glue them to index cards. For a different look, print your tarot cards on card stock or pre-scored card paper. To keep your tarot cards in good condition, keep them in a box or bag that you specially design for them.

Tips & Warnings
  • Many of the websites offer detailed printing instructions.
  • When you use a design, take note of the copyright rules. Many websites state very clearly that you should only use their designs for personal use.
