Obtain a coin that is large enough to hold easily, such as a quarter. Hold the coin straight up and down. The thin edge of the coin should be parallel to the table or ground, but not quite touching it.

Pinch the coin between your fingers. Your thumb touches one side of the coin and your pointer and middle finger touches the other side of the coin. Do this with your dominant hand or it will be awkward to hold and spin the coin.

Apply pressure to the coin with your fingers. Pinch your thumb and forefinger together firmly, but not so hard that you can't spin the coin. It will feel odd but it makes the coin spin faster.

Push your thumb to the left and middle and pointer finger to the right. This will mimic snapping your fingers together. Release the coin instantly, allowing it to drop to the table or ground and it will start spinning.
