Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Make friends who accept you for who you are. In fifth grade there is a lot of pressure to conform to the ways of the popular kids. This isn't too important as these groups change in middle and high school anyway.
Step2
Join sports teams or extra-curricular activities such as karate. This will help you to make friends and form an identity that is unique to you. You will meet many people and have a chance to excel at something outside of the classroom to not only survive fifth grade, but to thrive as an individual.
Step3
Practice your Mathematics. In fifth grade you will learn decimals, rounding numbers and multiplying four-digit numbers. This will only get harder in middle school so you must stay on top of it now to survive future math.
Step4
Study your English homework. In fifth grade English you learn root words, suffixes, prefixes and syllabication. It is important to grasp these concepts now and learn them, as they are the basis of all English assignments through middle and high school.
Step5
Stay true to who you are and be yourself. You may not be the most popular kid in your class but that isn't important. When you get into middle and high school you will have a lot more kids to identify with and popularity won't be as much of an issue anymore.
