Tacos are a popular food that mostly everyone enjoys on a regular basis and they're are a quick, easy meal to make that always taste great. You can make tacos from any kind of meat with an assortment of toppings. Follow these steps to learn how to stuff tacos.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Determine what kind of shell into which you will stuff your tacos toppings. Corn tortillas can hold a lot more toppings than flour tortillas because they are less likely to tear. Heat the shells prior to stuffing.

  2. Step 2

Decide what kind of meat with which you will fill your taco shells. Most meats taste great as taco fillers. The popular meats are ground beef, chicken, shredded pork, carne asada, steak, mahi-mahi and shrimp. Layer the meat in the bottom of the taco shells.

  3. Step 3

Choose the toppings you want to use to stuff your tacos. Use the popular toppings of lettuce, tomatoes and cheese or come up with your own. Try varying it up a bit by adding mango on shredded pork tacos or cabbage on fish tacos.

  4. Step 4

Dice the toppings for the tacos into small pieces. Display them in a row on the table or counter in the order you want to stuff them into your tacos. If you use lettuce in your tacos stuff it in the shell first so it doesn't spill out, then layer on the rest of the toppings.

  5. Step 5

Top the tacos with guacamole or sour cream if desired. Add a splash of salsa or hot sauce. Your tacos are now stuffed and ready to enjoy.
