How to Make VoIP Calls on a Pocket PC Using Express Talk
Express Talk is a VoIP, or voice over IP, software that allows you to use an Internet connection to make phone calls. With Express Talk, users make free VoIP calls anywhere in the United States. Express Talk is available for pocket PCs and other mobile devices.

Connect the Pocket PC to the Internet and visit the Express Talk website.

Download the Pocket PC or mobile device VoIP software. The file is not very large and takes between 5 second and 1 minute to download, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

Run the expresstalk.exe file to install the program. Follow the directions for the install as they pop up on the screen. You will be asked to read a service agreement and fill in information about the pocket pc.

Setup a free account with Express Talk. When prompted during the installation, click on "Setup Free Account." Follow the instructions on the screen that follow.

Finish the setup and click "OK."

Type in the number, IP or email of the person or PC you want to call. For example, the phone number 123-456-7890 is entered with no spaces, "1234567890." An IP address is entered, "joe@123.456.789.0123." To enter an email enter, "joe@email.com." Click on the green button that looks like a phone to begin the call. To hang up, click the red button.
