Changing the way your profile looks and feels on myspace can be a lot of fun. Your background design can say a lot about your personality and style. Myspace makes it easy to change your background just by simply copying and pasting the appropriate code into the "about me" section of your profile. The tips below will help you change your background on your myspace profile to make it more fun and appealing.

Instructions

Step 1

Decide on the kind of background you would like for your Myspace profile. You can find free backgrounds at Freemyspacebackgrounds.net, Blinkyou.com, Profilepimp.com, and Layoutstuff.com.
Step 2

Open your profile at Myspace.com. Open a second tab or window on your Internet browser.
Step 3

Click the "edit profile" link on your homepage. Copy the code of your background. To do this press "control A". You can also copy the code by highlighting the code with your mouse, right clicking, and selecting "copy".
Step 4

Paste the code at the very end of your "about me" section. Right click the area at the end of the section ans select "paste".
Step 5

Choose the "save all" selection after you paste the code into the bottom of your "about me" section. Select "view profile" to verify that your profile is correct.
Step 6

Share your new background with all of your Myspace friends. You can also write a quick blog telling everyone about the new design.

Tips & Warnings

Push "enter" a few times at the bottom of your "about me" section to separate your background code from the other coding information stored in your profile. This way you can easily see where your background code has been pasted.
