How to Enjoy Prague for Free
Prague, the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, is located in the central part of the country, along the Vltava River. It's an historic city, with many building dating back to the Eighteenth and Nineteenth centuries. In fact, Prague's Old Town is a World Heritage Site. One of the best part of visiting Prague is the city's many free attractions and sights.

Explore Old Town. Prague's Old Town is the historic center of the city. Parts of the neighborhood, now a World Heritage Site, date back to the Ninth century. Today, the area is a favorite of tourists for its diverse architecture, narrow passageways and plethora of shops and antique stores.

View the Charles Bridge. The stone pedestrian bridge, completed in the early Fifteenth century, connects the two sections of Prague's Old Town. The bridge is made of 16 arches and adorned with 30 statues of historic Czech figures.

Visit St. Vitus Cathedral. St. Vitus Cathedral, located within the Prague Castle complex, is the Cathedral of Prague. The Gothic structure was founded in the year 1344 and contains the tombs of many Bohemian kings. Admission to the Cathedral is free.

Relax in Letna Park. Letna Park is located on a bluff, overlooking Prague's Old Town and the Vltnava River. The park is home to the oldest, operational carousel in Europe and was the site of many important Twentieth century protests and workers' strikes.
