How to Observe and Celebrate Memorial Day

Traditionally Memorial Day is the day to remember the people that served and died for our country. For some though it is the day to have a relaxing, fun stress-free day. Memorial Day can be observed and celebrated at the same time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Throw a barbecue or party.

  2. Step 2

    Visit long distance family and friends. Sometimes it is good to get away for awhile and just enjoy the company of those that you love and love you.

  3. Step 3

    Send flowers to the people you may know that have lost loved ones.

  4. Step 4

    Go with your friends and visit the memorials, cemeteries and place the US Flag at half-staff until noon. At 3p.m. stop to participate in the National Moment of Remembrance to pause and think of the true meaning of Memorial Day.

  • Whatever you decide try to make it the best that you want it to be.
