Things You'll Need:
- Pair of nunchucks
-
Step 1
Hold one of the nunchucks in each hand at about shoulder level to prepare for the technique. Start by making your basic L-motion (one nunchuck across the body at the waist, the other up and over the shoulder perpendicular to the first).
-
Step 2
Switch to prepare for the double strike by pausing during one L-motion. Catch the dangling nunchuck behind your shoulder with the hand that is striking across the body at your waist. The dangling nunchuck should be at about waist level and you can let go with the hand that is holding the top of it.
-
Step 3
Hold both nunchucks in the hand that is at your waist, and bring the other hand down from your shoulder to grab the nunchucks as well. Again holding one in each hand, bring the nunchucks up from your waist to the opposite shoulder.
-
Step 4
Strike in doubles down from your shoulder to the opposite hip. After the strike, bring the nunchucks back up to your shoulder and helicopter around behind the head to strike down in doubles again from the other shoulder.
-
Step 5
Complete the motion as many times as desired. If you are a beginner, you can complete the doubles without starting in the L-motion and without going behind the head in a helicopter motion to get the basic strike down.
