If you use Google on a regular basis then you might be interested in creating your own personalized Google page through iGoogle. iGoogle allows you to take all the things you love about Google and place them conveniently on a home page for easy access. This includes creating tabs to add more gadgets to your iGoogle page when your homepage is already full.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to the iGoogle homepage. There you will be asked to make your personalized iGoogle page.

  2. Step 2

Follow the steps to create your page. Then select the "Add Tab" label on the left side just below the iGoogle header.

  3. Step 3

Create a new name for your tab and enter it in the space provided.

  4. Step 4

Enter the gadgets you'd like to see on your new tab manually. You can also check the "I'm feeling lucky" box to have Google automatically fill your tab with gadgets it thinks you might like.

  5. Step 5

Save your tab. You can now access it any time you visit your iGoogle page.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you check the "I'm feeling lucky" box on your tab and a error message pops up stating that it can't find relevant content, you can select a blue button that says, "Look for new stuff to add" to add content manually.
  • You can rename or delete your tag by placing the mouse over the tag name while it's active. It will give you a choice to rename it or delete it.
  • You can always add a tab as long as the "Add Tab" function is available from your iGoogle screen.
