Use PulpMotion's capture tab to grab live media clips from an iSight camera and include them in a PulpMotion slideshow. PulpMotion even allows you to add live video into a slideshow with the drag and drop feature using a built-in iSight camera.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click the "Capture" tab located beneath the "Media" column on the right side of the screen.

  2. Step 2

Choose the video checkbox. Select the audio checkbox to record audio with the video.

  3. Step 3

Select a built-in iSight camera option if it is not the capture default.

  4. Step 4

Click the red "Record" button to begin recording with the iSight camera.

  5. Step 5

Push the "Record" button again to stop recording. An icon appears that represents the video you just recorded. Position the cursor over that icon.

  6. Step 6

Hold the mouse button down. Drag the cursor and the video icon down to the photo media tray.

  7. Step 7

Release the mouse button to drop the file into the photo media tray and into the PulpMotion slideshow.

  8. Step 8

Add live video to the PulpMotion slideshow. Drag and drop the icon labeled "Live Video" into the photo media tray.

  9. Step 9

Select "Preview" to run through the PulpMotion slideshow. The slideshow plays according to the order of the files in the photo media tray and the iSight camera goes live when the slideshow progression comes to the "Live Video" icon.
