PulpMotion allows you to adjust the timing of just about everything in a PulpMotion slideshow. The duration of each photo display, the duration the title text is displayed and the length of time it takes each photo in your slideshow to transition to the next are all adjustable.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click the "Settings" tab at the bottom right of the PulpMotion screen. This brings up the "Composition Setting" heading with the Setting Option tabs listed underneath.

  2. Step 2

Select the "Timing" tab under the "Composition Settings" heading. This brings up the three timing slidebars.

  3. Step 3

Adjust the display timing, or duration, of each photo in the PulpMotion slideshow. Move the top slidebar.

  4. Step 4

Change the display timing, or duration, of the PulpMotion slideshow title text with the middle slidebar.

  5. Step 5

Lengthen or shorten the timing of the transitions between the PulpMotion slideshow photos with the third slidebar.

Tips & Warnings
  • The system requirements for PulpMotion are: Mac OS X 10.4.4 or later; 1-GHz G4, G5, or Intel-based; Mac 512 MB of RAM (1 GB recommended); Quartz Extreme compatible card (all recent Macs have this); and an iSight camera or DV camera (optional).
  • PulpMotion is free to try, and can be purchased after the trial period ends.
  • Slow transition timing drags out the slideshow, which may negatively impact the soundtrack and make the audience impatient.
