Step 1
Complete the replacement job on the upper and lower ball joints, then start the reassembly process. Make sure you have all the parts and tools you need close at hand to make the remounting of the upper control arm easier.

Check to make sure you have the correct control arm, as they are not identical. To determine which side you are on, consider the placement of your side to the inside. For example, the driver's side is considered the left side. Look for the "L" or "R" stamped onto the control arm piece.

Step 3
Look at the cam adjuster to make sure your index mark is still there. This will help you re-install it properly. Place the control arm into place, then slip on the cam adjuster and the camber bolt, which holds it together. It could take a little jiggling to get it to all line up, but once you have it all together, start the camber bolt.

Step 4
Put the retaining nut on and tighten all the way down. Once it is all tightened down, check to make sure the entire assembly is secure. Repeat the process for the right side of the vehicle and the other upper control arm, cam adjuster, camber bolt and retaining nut.
