Instructions
  1. Step 1

Ask your sponsors. Many sponsors create promotional cards for their racers because it gives them something to hand out at events and a way to promote their company.

  2. Step 2

Look for companies that already make cards. These companies can be found online and know how to make the cards, unlike a traditional printer who may have limited experience.

  3. Step 3

Check out the cards from other drivers. Ask the drivers what they like or don't like about their cards and ask their opinion on a good printer.

  4. Step 4

Examine the racing cards to see if you can find any indication of who printed them. It you don't have access to specific racers, look on their cards for the name of the printer.

  5. Step 5

Search online for companies that make racing cards. There are several companies that specialize in promotional cards for racers and have different options available for different types of racing including NHRA.

  6. Step 6

Include an image of yourself and you car on the front of the card. Fans can identify you not only by your image or sponsor, but by the car you drive every race.

  7. Step 7

Print a short biography and statistics relating to your career or last season on the back. This ensures that your fans have up to date information about your racing career.

  • These cards are also known as promotional cards or hero cards and the company may call them by a different name.
  • Keep in mind that driver racing cards are usually 8 ½ X 11 inches. Using the standard size makes it easier for fans to collect, display and store.
