How to Get Google Notebooks on a Cell Phone

Google Notebook allows you to take different items from the web and organize them in one convenient place. This can be anything from extensive research to simply remembering a recipe. Google Notebook makes it easy to access stored Internet information your cell phone.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Check to see if your cell phone has a web browser. When you open the browser, you'll need to check if it is XHTML compliant.

  2. Step 2

    Check your phone's browser settings to make sure cookies are enabled. Also, you'll need to allow secured SSL traffic to make a secure connection to your Google account.

  3. Step 3

    Open your phone's browser and type in the mobile Google address. The address is different for different mobile devices, so check first at google.com/mobile/.

  4. Step 4

    Log in to your Google account. Once your account is loaded, select the Notebooks tab. This will be a mobile version of Google Notebook.

  5. Step 5

    Click on a specific note to see the details written under the note header. You should be able to see all of your notes on your phone's browser.

Tips & Warnings
  • To determine whether your phone's browser is XHTML compliant, type the following web address into your phone's browser: www.google.com/xhtml. If the screen comes up, your browser is compliant.
  • You can also access Google Notebooks from your mobile phone by typing m.google.com/notebook into your phone's browser.
  • To log on to Google from your mobile phone, you'll need to type your username and password in the same way you'd text message. If cookies are enabled, your username and password should be stored.
