Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Loosen the dirt and grime on the surface with a high power nozzle before applying detergents. Switch to a medium nozzle before spraying the detergent through a pressure washer.

  2. Step 2

Choose cleaning solution right for your surface. Use only detergents made for pressure washers. Detergents for cleaning cars, siding, cement, grease from machinery and many more are made specifically for use in pressure washers.

  3. Step 3

Test detergent on inconspicuous area so you can make sure the cleaner works without damaging the surface.

  4. Step 4

Use a cleaning solution with pressure washers that have a built in detergent tank. Put the solution in the tank and spray it directly through the pressure washer's nozzel.

  5. Step 5

Apply cleaner by hand with pressure washers without dispenser. If the cleaner isn't in a spray bottle, put it in one. Spray it on the surface and let it sit for a few minutes before using the pressure washer to clean the area.

  6. Step 6

Rinse the detergent using the medium nozzle on full water after you allow the cleaner to soak for a few minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never put a cleaner in your pressure washer tank that isn't designed for pressure washers. Other cleaners, such as dish soap, can damage the machine.
  • Don't let detergents dry on the surface. Always rinse them away shortly after applying and before the surface dries.
