You have heard it for years--there are spots on your feet that control everything else in your body. The science behind this is reflexology zones. The reflexology chart explains all of this, but you must know how to read a reflexology chart first.

    Things You'll Need

    • Reflexology chart
      • 1

Look carefully at the chart. As you will see, there are five different segments, or reflex zones, in the foot.

      • 2

View the foot and see that four lines divide each of the segments. There are specific reflexology pressure points in each.

      • 3

Analyze the lines. The first zone stands for the neck and shoulder. Above that line is the area for the ears, eyes, head, brain and neck.

      • 4

Examine the second line. It is for the diaphragm. The soloplex, the shoulders and the heart are above that line.

      • 5

Look over the last line, which is the waif line of the foot. This line, in the middle of both of the feet, means the abdominal cavity. It represents the stomach, kidneys, spleen and liver.

      • 6

View a chart, like the one from Reflexology Wisconsin (resources), whenever you have pain. Use massage and manipulation techniques to center in on the healing zones that will help you.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Use the reflexology chart to cure anything that ails you, from stress and headaches to back and stomach pain. All you have to do is select the right zones to alleviate your pain.
