With support for hand-made Miis, Miis generated from photos, Miis imported from a 3DS and Miis shared via QR code, your Wii U can quickly become overrun with swarms of characters. Deleting extra Miis only takes a couple of taps, but to delete the Mii tied to your user account, you first need to switch the account to a different Mii.
Erase a Mii
To delete any Mii on your Wii U that isn't tied to a user's account, open "Mii Maker" and tap "Select Mii" on the GamePad. Choose a Mii you don't want and press "Erase." If you might want to restore the Mii later, save it as a QR code before erasing it by tapping "QR Code / Image Options" in Mii Maker.
Change User Mii
You can't erase the Mii currently tied to your account, so change to another Mii to unlock the old Mii for deletion. On the Wii U's main menu, select your Mii in the upper left corner and press "Change Mii." You can either select "Choose a Mii from Mii Maker" to switch to an existing Mii, or press "Create / Receive" to design a new Mii, generate one from a photo or import one from a 3DS or a QR code.
