The OneNote utility uses a cache to temporarily store important data. This cache holds notes, drawings and other information before it is saved. The cache storage area can become corrupted after long term use, or if your hard drive is almost full. You can use OneNote's Safe Boot mode to clear the cache and delete the existing settings. This enables you to continue using the software without further errors.
