How to Decorate a Picture Frame in One Minute

• Patterned paper
• Cardstock
• Scissors
• Adhesives
• Rubber stamps and ink
• Stickers or die cuts
• Dimensional embellishments
• Ribbon, lace or twill

1. Choose a sheet of patterned paper or wrapping paper that coordinates with your décor. Measure and trim strips to adhere to the front of the frame. If desired, trim decorative shapes from coordinating paper or cardstock and affix them to one corner of the frame with dimensional foam tape.
2. Find rubber stamps to suit the theme and stamp them around the frame with solvent ink to prevent smearing. If you're creating party favors for a wedding shower, for example, stamp hearts, rings or bells at the top or corners.
3. Design a scene on the bottom right corner of the frame with mini die cuts or stickers. Create a frame to hold a Christmas photo by adding a grouping featuring a tree, presents and toys, for instance.
4. Add dimensional embellishments around the frame with glue or adhesive dots. Try items like small index prints, gems, shells, feathers, buttons, charms, chipboard shapes, paper flowers or little river rocks.
5. Cover the frame with wide ribbon, tucking it in every two inches for added texture. Add a large bow to one corner created with a coordinating color of ribbon, lace or twill.
6. Decorate the glass itself with decorative rub-ons. Add text, patterns and designs to the edges or corners, ensuring that the photo will be visible beneath them.
