How to Make Eyelashes Grow

For those of you who want to make your eyelashes grow longer, there are a few products which many say have helped them to grow longer eyelashes. There is everything from Vaseline to "lash accelerators", but no matter which you choose, all are safe and easy to use. Soon you can have eyelashes as long as you like.

1. Use mascara to enhance the length of your lashes. There are some that claim to actually make them grow longer. These products tend to be expensive, but using mascara is a quick fix if you have somewhere to go and want your lashes to longer.

2. Apply Vaseline to your eyelashes by first gently spreading your eyelashes apart either with a small make-up brush or a toothbrush and then applying a little Vaseline to the brush. Slowly brush the Vaseline onto your eyelashes, then wait a minute before washing them off; do this every day and see if this works for you. Many say that this method has worked wonderfully for them.

3. Try a lash accelerator. There are many products made specifically to make your eyelashes grow longer. They usually contain serums, proteins and conditioners that can strengthen weak lashes as well as making short ones grow.

Tips & Warnings

• Some claim that castor oil also helps to increase eyelash growth, but there are also studies that say just the opposite.

• Eyelash loss can be the result of alopecia, which is a condition where patches of hair fall out of the scalp.
